‘The Best First Love in the World‘ aka ‘Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi‘
Yes, this is a BL (Boys Love). If you don’t like it. Shoo!
I know the trailer has Spanish annotations, so I’ll translate it below.
EDIT (4/16/11) : The trailer has been replaced with the Japanese original due to the Spain subtitled one being taken down. The translations below are still accurate for the Japanese original PV from KADOKAWA’s Anime Channel.
“I like you. I like you, Senpai.”
Every thing was so pure in that instance. But now, 10 years later. I am Onodera Ritsu, 25 years old.And I’m a very easy to disturb adult.
I decided to change from editorial and now I work at Marukawa Shoten
“They assigned me to Shoujo Manga?!”
Just wait a second, I was a Literature editor and I was waiting for me to get the same thing.
Anyway, is it ok for only men to work in this section?
It’s the worst.
“Are you the rookie?” “Yes, I’m Onodera” “You work in Shonen, Seinen?” “No, not at all. I always worked in Literature” “Idiot…”
That guy (Masamune) is the worst!
An original by Nakamura Shungiku, Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi appears on TV and the staff that worked on the Junjou Romantica anime reunite once again.
The love between a weird editor-in-chief and a rookie editorstarts April 8th on different channels (the ones listed)
“Who said that the first love results in nothing?”
Totally translated that by hand, yaeyah! Anyway moving on. Yes, this IS an original work by Junjou Romantica and Hybrid Child’s Nakamura Shungiku. I mean, if the art didn’t give it away, I don’t know what to tell you.
I have seen the OVA and I will be posting a review for it sometime before the 9th or 10th (depends when I believe the first episode of the series will be subbed)
This is the plot summary for the series:
Although Ritsu Onodera hates to rely on family connections, he takes a job as an editor at his parents’ company, Marukawa Books. Although he is very annoyed, he’s assigned to the shoujo manga department in spite of having no interest or experience in it. And on top of that, he has an awful first impression of his boss, the editor in chief, Masamune Takano.
I’ll cut it short so, until next time!~
